This website was originally created as fan page. The HAMU virtual community is very much real for witches and wizards that are down for the culture. This page is not affiliated with Universal Studios or Warner Bros.  It is a parody school of wizardry HBCU.

Join any group! It's all about having safe connections with fellow wizards. We acknowledge there are multiple HAMU communities in development. This website is not responsible for or affiliated with information being shared within groups.

HAMU: The Illustrious HBCU is the only Facebook group associated with myHAMU.

myHAMU is managed by black volunteers who are committed to creating a safe and inclusive community for people of color who are fans of the HP series. We work tirelessly to provide a memorable and enjoyable experience for all, celebrating the magic of the books and movies.

Visit myhamu.com/enrollment. Membership is a one-time fee of $39.95.  Allow 2-3 business days to receive membership confirmation and a welcome email from your assigned house with the password to the common room.

Contact us via email if you have any issues purchasing a membership.

If you register for the incorrect house by mistake, DO NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER MEMBERSHIP. Please contact a member of our team at info@myhamu.com and we will place you in the correct house. All purchases are final and will not be transferred or refunded.

We prefer you do not purchase memberships for others. The name of the purchaser will be the information applied to the membershi. Email info@myhamu.com and a member of our team will assist you if needed.

 June 17th is the final deadline to submit your house portraits for the yearbook. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS! 

• Please note that only registered members are eligible to submit their yearbook photos.

Don't miss out on this chance to be featured in the yearbook. Make sure to follow the guidelines provided by your school and submit your photo before the deadline. **Those that purchase a membership after June 17th will not be included in the yearbook.***

No, only members who register  and submit their headshot by June 17th will be included in the yearbook. There will be no exceptions!

Print copies of the yearbook will be shipped AFTER October 31st. We know you're excited to get your hands on it, so we'll keep you informed every step of the way. An email notification will be sent to your inbox as soon as your shipment is on its journey to you. Get ready to relive the memories and cherish this beautiful keepsake.

The monthly lunch menu is not real.  No food will be served anywhere and it is not available for purchase.

The amount of support needs to heavily increase before reconsidering giving it another go, regardless of the city/state. This year's cancellation of Orlando drastically impacted our number of people who could afford to attend. While we understand our members are marjority located in the southern states, the theme parks are only available in Hollywood and Orland. Much community support is required to finance the cost to have an event that meets the standards of this community without charging high prices for tickets. For now, regional meet ups and park meetups only.
